Spring in Alfresco ECM
Monday, June 29, 2009 at 2:56PM Today I have published my presentation titled Spring in Alfresco ECM shown at Spring Framework Meeting 2009 in Cagliari (Sardinia - Italy).
During this meeting I have met great people and we have discussed about very interesting Java projects and about open source world.
I have enjoyed during this weekend in Cagliari with a great discussion during the lunch with Alef Arendsen, Massimiliano Dessì, Luca Marroco and Mario Fusco about what could be succeed in the open source world with the latest companies acquisitions and movements.
Here the abstract of the presentation:
Alfresco is the leading open source enterprise content management system and two of the most appreciated aspects of Alfresco are: the wide customization model and the high quality of source code.
Alfresco is strongly based on Spring Framework and thanks to this adoption we can find many ways to extend and inject our components. In this presentation will be shown many ways to extend Alfresco features and interfaces using Spring application context configuration.
