The item I definitely prefer on this book is the debug side of the webscripts development.
Why?
Simply because power without control would be less attractive. ;-)
IMHO, having a full control of the web scripts with a powerful debug tool, is definitely an important issue.
Congrats for the book, I think it's very useful for everyone.

I'm an ACE and ACA Alfresco certified and I reckon that this book can help to introduce new Alfresco developers to design and implement new webscripts by using the right approach.

What appeals me most about this book is the chapter about extending the webscript framework. Implementing a custom authenticator, script processor and template processor are subjects that really needed a better documentation. Welcome Learning Alfresco Webscripts!

I'm thrilled about the section that explains how to add support to maven during the realization of the web scripts because nowday I can not give up maven in my projects. Best regards

IMHO interesting chapters are the ones on "Invoking Web Scripts" and "Mavenizing Web Script". The first shows how to integrate Alfresco with external word, the second is a best practice that can simplify the development process.

Really interesting book for both beginners and experienced developers..

I'm particularly interested in development of Java Backed Webscripts (testing, debugging, best practices using Maven integration)

I'd love to win a copy. I am a sole supporter on a community-version for my company. This would be a big help.

I think I'm a perfect target:
- New to Alfresco development
- Supporting a corporate site based on community Alfresco version
- I have users who would very much appreciate a very streamlined web page to support their specific uses.

Wish me luck!

I would surely be glad to win a copy of this book!

I am an ECM functional project manager and I am implementing Alfresco in a public administration environment. Since I am knew to this product, I made a lot of research and I read tons of tutorials to finally master the basics of Alfresco administration and developement.

Web script framework is still totally new to me, but the possibilities it offers and simply outstanding. It would be of a great help for me to study and understand everything about webscripts in Alfresco!

Wish me luck too and have my best regards!
