Following the news about Android was finally released in full open source, I have not yet managed to convince me that news of this kind could be wrote in the same way we promote the other.

Each time a project is opened I think it is more than a news: I would like it was an event!

Now Symbian has founded Symbian Foundation and it will release a new and totally open source version of SymbianOS based on Open Source Eclipse License.

The main problem of the mobile world has always been the lack of a standard application development. Now we can finally hope that there is every reason to create one or more standard that can solve the chaos of mobile developing.

Open Source business model is taking much more market than we can think ;)
